Have you ever been part of a team that felt more like a community — a group of individuals who laughed, struggled, and grew together through shared experiences? As a Technical Lead at Fullscript, I had the privilege of leading such a team—Team Titan. What started as a professional journey evolved into a profound exploration of connection, vulnerability, and the power of community.
I'd like to share with you a deeply personal farewell message I wrote to my former teammates as I embarked on a new adventure within the company. As you read on, prepare to be immersed in a story that celebrates the incredible potential of a team united by trust, empathy, and a shared purpose.
For those who don't know already this is my last project with Team Titan. After over two incredible years with this team, I'm embarking on a new journey with the Growth division. As I reflect on our time together, I couldn't be prouder of the remarkable experiences we've built as a team! While we’ve accomplished a great deal, I believe our greatest achievement lies in the extraordinary community we've created. We've shared laughter, tears, house hunts, and yoga sessions—building something truly unique that many never experience in their entire careers.
The Titan name has been a constant in Fullscript's engineering team, long before I joined. A thread running through our team's DNA is psychological safety —something we've fiercely protected. This foundation allowed us to cultivate a deep sense of community. Regardless of our individual personalities, we all seek connection and belonging, and together, we’ve created an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Where we show up for each other with genuine care and empathy.
The essence of our culture can be distilled into three elements: psychological safety, community, and authenticity. Our shared dedication to doing our best work for each other is a source of deep motivation for everyone of us, leaving our mark on every aspect of our application.

I can't help but feel immense gratitude for the experiences we've shared. Together, we've witnessed the remarkable growth of our division, from a single team—the mighty Titan—to an impressive trio of dedicated and passionate pods. We've ventured into uncharted territory, reaching new heights that once seemed unimaginable.
My journey here has not only allowed me to collaborate with exceptional people but also create cherished memories that I'll forever hold close to my heart. Y'all's passion and determination inspire me daily.

Our journey together has been an absolute rollercoaster, filled with laughter, lots of learnings, wins and unforgettable memories. I'm grateful to have been a part of the strong and vibrant community we've built together. Through the inclusive and welcoming space we created, I've been able to let go of my past workplace trauma, knowing that I won't always feel like an outsider and that spaces where people like me belong and are welcomed do indeed exist. Thank you for standing by me through thick and thin.

As I look back on my journey with Team Titan and the emotions stirred by this farewell message, it becomes clear that what we created was more than just a productive work environment—it was a community built on trust, empathy, and shared experiences.
